**NEW** Transgender Awareness Lipstick

Back to our roots

As some of you may know, Jecca Blac was born from founder Jessica Blackler offering makeup lessons to transgender women. This month, we’re taking it right back to our roots!

From the 11th March 2019, Jecca Blac will be offering exclusive makeup lessons again.

If it sounds like the kind of thing you need, clients will be able to inquire about the sessions online at jeccablac.com.

Louise & Megan

Louise was trained at the London Makeup School, attaining the internationally recognised ITEC qualification with distinction in makeup application, both theory and practical. She has also undergone further training in mature makeup and male to female makeup.

Megan is a transwoman, who through her own personal experience, identified the need for this type of service. She knows first-hand the difficulties trans women face and is an invaluable source of support, encouragement and advice.

Louise and Megan pride themselves on giving excellent customer service – or as they prefer to call it – friendship. The experience doesn’t end on the day – Louise and Megan are always on hand to give support, encouragement and advice. Together they make a great team and they’re looking forward to helping you on your journey!

You can choose either to simply enjoy the experience of being made up, or you can be in it for the full lesson: learn how to apply makeup — using the correct products for your skin type and enabling you to confidently create your perfect look, whether it be day, evening or glamour. Louise and Megan will be covering techniques to help feminize the face thanks to the skilful application of contouring and show you the correct ways of accentuating your best features and – if necessary — deceiving others! The makeovers will take place in the beautiful surroundings of the London Transgender Clinic in Wimpole Street. We do understand that learning how to apply makeup can seem a bit daunting at first, but Louise and Megan will be there to create a safe and supportive environment for you to learn the first steps.

Louise and Megan will be using Jecca Blac products during each session, making it a fantastic opportunity to try the products for yourself. You will also be able to purchase Jecca Blac products at the Transgender London Clinic.

‘I am a trans woman who is very early in her journey. I booked in order to learn a little bit about makeup and put together a look I could go out in.

Right from the beginning both Louise and Megan were extremely friendly and helped put my mind at ease. Louise did a fantastic job with my makeover and I barely recognised the woman in the mirror when she showed me the finished result. I was blown away! Megan was also an incredible source of support. As a trans woman herself she is more than capable of helping you find your confidence.

I finished the day with the confidence to face the world. I couldn’t recommend the service enough! Jodie x’

‘The clinic is fantastic, you walk through the front door and omg it’s amazing, then I met Louise, she is so nice and she puts you at ease straight away.

We started the makeover, Louise explained what products she was using for my skin type. I must say that sitting in front of a mirror having your makeup applied by a professional is such a wonderful feeling. Louise finished my makeup and applied my wig, this is the point when I looked in the mirror and I was overwhelmed, I was so amazed at how I looked. Louise is so talented. Prior to Louise finishing my makeover I met the lovely, delightful Megan who is so enthusiastic.

If you have the opportunity to visit Meg and Louise then please do it you will not be disappointed. Please keep up the great work you both do

Thanks xx Chelsie xx.’
