Jecca Blac Team’s Night Time Routine

The Jecca Blac team is back with its skincare secrets! This time, we would like to share with you our night time routines, featuring all our favourite products.

If you either like to spend a little bit of time pampering yourself at the end of the night or if you’re someone who just likes to take the makeup off and go to sleep, there’s something for everyone. Our routines are all so different that you will definitely find what suits your needs.

Jessica, our founder, uses: Garnier Micellar Water Sensitive SkinThe Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial WashAyuna Cream Natural Rejuvenating Treatment

I always double cleanse using the face wash in the shower and then the micellar water afterwards to cleanse. Depending on how I feel/how busy I am, I will sometimes use a mask. I then put Ayuna’s cream on. My routine changes A LOT. I know it shouldn’t, but I just love beauty products so much that I always want something new to try.

Andrea, Copywriter, uses: Yes to Cotton Micellar Cleansing WaterDistilled Witch HazelThe Ordinary Vitamin C Suspension 23%Be Barefaced Botanic Oil

I’ve never loved a product as much as I love this Micellar Water. It’s so incredibly easy to take my makeup off with it — I just pump it on a cotton cloth et voilà! The witch hazel and vitamin C are a recent addition to my routine and they both seem to help my skin a bit. The most important thing for me is moisturising in the end, and a couple of drops of oil overnight make a lot of difference to how my skin looks in the morning.

Gabi, Product Copywriter, uses: Kose Speedy Cleansing OilBobby Brown’s Hydrating Eye CreamAcnecide gel

My nightly routine starts with removing my makeup with cleansing oil. They’re great for oily skin and better at getting makeup off than a face wipe. I use Kose Speedy Cleansing Oil. Then I moisturise, focusing on the under eyes. At the minute I’m loving Bobby Brown’s Hydrating Eye Cream. At the minute my acne is raging, so I finish with Acnecide gel. It’s a pretty intense cream that can be drying and difficult, so even though it’s available over the counter I wouldn’t use it unless it’s doctor prescribed!

Sophie, Social Media Manager, uses: Pixi Glow Mud Cleanser Sothys Vitality Lotion Make Up For Ever Sens’Eyes Waterproof Sensitive Eye CleanserPolaar Youthful Promise Eye ContourClarins Double SerumOrigins High-Potency Night-A-Mins

My night routine consists in 5 steps: First, I remove my makeup with PIXI Glow Mud Cleanser all over my face, while around the eyes I use MAKEUP FOREVER Sens eyes, as the area can be easily irritated! After, I use Sothys Vitality Lotion, followed by an eye contour the Contour Yeux Jeunesse Neige Eternelle from POLAAR (it’s an anti-ageing balm!). Then, I apply the Double Serum from Clarins. It makes your skin really soft and looking beautiful in just a few weeks! Bonus? It’s also a treatment to prevent wrinkles. Finally, I use Origins High-potency Night-a-mins, which is richer than my day cream, as during the night is when your skin has time to fully repair.
